"You Dream It. Let’s Bring It to Life!” AI-Powered Storytelling for the English Classroom
Every classroom story begins with a teacher’s imagination. What if you could turn that spark into characters your learners care about, scenes they can explore, and voices that bring a story to life?
This practical workshop explores how English teachers can use AI to transform a simple idea into a story-based learning experience. Following one story from its first “What if…?” to its classroom application, participants will explore a creative process that connects story development, visuals, narration, music, and short animated scenes.
Throughout the session, the focus remains on purposeful language teaching: shaping stories around target vocabulary and grammar, adapting language to learners’ ages and levels, and designing activities that invite students to listen, speak, read, write, and imagine.
Participants will also consider how to review AI-generated materials for accuracy, suitability, and responsible use. They will leave with a practical storytelling framework they can adapt to their own lessons, with their creativity and teaching decisions guiding every step.
